Went to get tags for the new car. Don’t want to talk about it. Sucked.

My 12 yo took this on his field trip to Pella, Iowa to see the Bald Eagles. I’m glad he did because I never got around to taking any pictures today.

Homemade Apple Pie. I have never heard of this. I don’t know all the details except that it is STRONG and it tastes GOOD. If anyone knows how to make it, please forward instructions to me!

I was shopping for dinner and suddenly had a craving for Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp. Ok, not suddenly. I went to the frozen section and saw it and wanted it. This frozen treat was surprisingly good and an added bonus  is that rhubarb always reminds me of my Grandma Starks.

Not sure why Monday has to be the most difficult day of the week. Today went fast but it does tend to do that when you are running non-stop for hours. Needless to say I was super tired tonight and curled up in bed with my 9yo to watch a little tv. Good night.

And it’s not swiss…

I was set to make Guacamole but got distracted with the cracks in this seed. I spent so much time taking pictures of it that the other avocado that I had previously cut started to brown. Whoops. It still tasted good though.
