I resisted for a long time but since they only come once a year I caved and had one. Technically I only had a few sips of one then passed it on to the boys. I’m not a huge ice cream fan.

I love using the macro lens for food and drink images. This one is really cool big! Those bubbles and the colors are stunning. If I do say so myself. We are on week two of illness around the Zink household. I am not usually a tea drinker but this was needed tonight.

Being a little lazy lately. My dinner. Technically I’m not really being lazy at all. I’m being very busy and realizing at the very end of the day that I haven’t taken a picture. Last minute shots is what you get from me until life slows down a little (or the weather warms back up).

I have no idea why I like fridge shots. 12 yo has been sick since last week. Started a new antibiotic today since the other one wasn’t working. I realized I didn’t even get a picture in on Sunday. Oh well, I’m bound to miss a few.

A friend and I went to Des Moines and found this fabulous little place over by Jordan Creek Mall. It’s called Wok in Motion. I wish I would have picked up a menu. Doesn’t matter. I will be going back again and again!

Last day of nice weather before the weekend of rain hits. I took advantage of the sunshine and 50º temps and went to the botanical gardens in Newton, Iowa. They have some really interesting sculptures. Good thing because there isn’t much else out there yet. Come on Spring! Hurry it up!

It got even warmer than this today. 72ºF is what I think I saw last on there. It was a wonderful taste of Spring. Don’t worry, I fully realize that Winter is not over.

Strep throat sucks. I’ll be glad when those promised 50ºF temps get here this week. I need to open all the windows and deep clean the house. My oldest child has had strep all week and the youngest has had a lingering cold. The poor kids.
